Hydroxypropyl beta-cyclodextrin is one of the earliest beta-cyclodextrin derivatives used as a pharmaceutical excipient. It is easily soluble in water and overcomes the disadvantage of low solubility of beta-cyclodextrin. The solubility can reach more than 100g/100ml water at room temperature. The low-substituted HPBCD produced by our company has a beta residue of less than 0.1%, which greatly improves the safety performance of the product.
